Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Leisure ("we", "us"), the operator of the Leisure app and leisurelocal.app. By creating an account or using Leisure, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use Leisure.

Who can use Leisure

You must be at least 18 years old. You agree to use your real name, give accurate information, keep your password private, and have only one account. You're responsible for what happens on your account.

No tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior

Leisure has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You agree not to post, message or do any of the following:

• Harass, bully, threaten, intimidate or stalk anyone.
• Post hateful content, or content that attacks people for their race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation or similar traits.
• Post sexual, violent, graphic or otherwise objectionable content.
• Impersonate someone, create fake profiles, or mislead people about who you are.
• Spam, advertise or solicit, or use Leisure for scams or anything illegal.
• Post fake events, or events meant to lure, harm or take advantage of people.
• Share someone else's private information without their permission.
• Try to get around blocks, bans or Leisure's security, or access accounts or data that aren't yours.

Reporting, blocking and enforcement

You can report any member, post or message from the app, and block anyone. We review reports within 24 hours. We may remove content, and warn, suspend or permanently ban anyone who breaks these terms, at our discretion and without notice. We may also report illegal activity to the authorities.

Meeting people in person

Leisure helps you find people to play and do activities with, but we don't run the events, we don't screen or run background checks on members, and we aren't responsible for how anyone behaves online or in person. You decide whether to join an event and who to meet, and you take part at your own risk. Sports and outdoor activities carry a risk of injury. Only take part in activities you're fit and prepared for.

Meet in public places, tell someone you trust where you're going, trust your instincts, and report anyone who makes you feel unsafe. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Your content

You own what you post: your events, messages, reviews and profile. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, display and share it inside Leisure so the app works (for example, showing your event in the feed or your review on someone's profile). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other members already received in chats and anything we must keep for safety or legal reasons. You're responsible for what you post and confirm that you have the right to post it.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk.

Disclaimers

Leisure is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, including that Leisure will always be available or error-free, or about the accuracy of anything members post.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any injury, loss or damage that results from your use of Leisure, your dealings with other members, or events you take part in. Our total liability for any claim relating to Leisure is limited to $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for important changes, let you know in the app. If you keep using Leisure after that, you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Apple devices

If you use Leisure on an iPhone, these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for Leisure or its content, and has no obligation to provide support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
